Academic Departments
- UVa departments may use the CA to obtain software (including operating systems, Microsoft Office, and Client Access Licenses) for general use on their employees' computers.

UVa Faculty & Staff
- For home use, individual UVa faculty and staff employed in Agency 207 (mostly state-funded academic and administrative units) may use the CA to get a licensed copy of Microsoft Office (for a Mac or a PC).

UVa Students
- All UVa students, except those in Continuing Education, can use the CA to obtain a licensed copy of the Microsoft Office suite (for a Mac or a PC), as well as the Windows Vista operating system, for just $10.
What's Covered
Microsoft software products covered under the agreement include:
- Microsoft Office Professional Plus—for departments, faculty/staff home use, and students
- Microsoft Office for the Mac—for departments, faculty/staff home use, and students
- Windows Vista Enterprise—may also be installed as a Virtual Machine on a Mac; for departments and students
- Windows Server 2003 Client Access License (CAL)—for departments
- Exchange Client Access License (CAL)—for departments
- SharePoint Client Access License (CAL)—for departments
- Systems Management Server Client Access License (CAL)—for departments
- Desktop Optimization Pack—for departments
